Why choose a custom closet instead of a modular system?
Most closet systems sold in Las Vegas are modular. They come in fixed widths — usually 12, 18
and 24 inch modules — and are assembled to approximate your opening. That is why they finish
with filler strips at the ends and leave dead space above the top shelf.
We manufacture to the actual dimensions of your closet. If the run measures 94-1/2 inches, the
system is 94-1/2 inches. No fillers, no standard heights, and no wasted volume overhead.
The difference is largest exactly where closets are hardest: sloped ceilings, angled walls,
existing windows, returns around a doorway, and primary closets that were framed to whatever
was left after the bedroom was laid out. A modular system works around those conditions. A
custom system is built to them.
In practice, a well-designed custom system usually recovers 20 to 40 percent more usable
storage from the same square footage, because nothing is lost to fillers and fixed heights.
How are your closets built?
Closets are built by hand in our North Las Vegas facility.
Panels. Our closet systems are built in thermally fused laminate — TFL — from the European and
North American decor programs: Cleaf, Alvic, Tafisa, Arauco Prism, Dosooz, Kronospan, Wilsonart Lujo,
Wilsonart Traceless and Egger. TFL is not the thin melamine used in stock closet kits. The
decor is fused to the panel under heat and pressure, so it will not peel or delaminate the way
a surface-applied laminate can, and it resists scratching and abrasion exactly where a closet
takes wear — shelf edges, drawer fronts and hanging sections.
TFL is also the right material for this climate. Las Vegas humidity often sits between 10 and
20 percent, and engineered panels hold their dimensions in that dryness where solid wood moves,
checks and opens at the joints.
Prefinished birch plywood with a laminate exterior is available as an alternative construction
where a project calls for it.
Edgebanding. We run a dedicated edgebander in-house, so exposed edges are banded in matched
material and read as solid rather than as a panel with a stripe around it. In a walk-in, where
every edge is visible from the door, this is what separates a built system from an assembled
one. On textured decors like Cleaf and Alvic Syncron, the banding is matched so the emboss
carries across the edge.
Hardware. Blum Movento undermount drawer runners, full-extension and soft-close, with Blum
soft-close hinges. Blum carries a lifetime warranty on its hardware. For handleless designs we
build with the Blum TIP-ON push-to-open system.
Backs, shelves and hanging sections are finished to the same standard as the fronts. In a
closet you are standing inside the cabinet, so everything is a finished surface.

Do custom closets add value in Las Vegas?
In the Las Vegas luxury market a finished primary closet is closer to an expectation than an
upgrade, and it is one of the few storage improvements a buyer notices in the first thirty
seconds of a showing.
The practical argument is stronger than the resale one. A custom system returns 20 to 40
percent more usable storage from the same footprint than a modular one, and it does it without
the filler panels and dead overhead space that make a stock closet look like it was fitted
rather than built.
What do custom closets cost in Las Vegas?
Basic laminate closet systems in Las Vegas run around $125 per linear foot. Ours run
$200 to $400 per linear foot, because the system is built in branded TFL on a proper core rather than thin stock melamine, the hardware is Blum rather than generic, and every panel is built to your dimensions rather than assembled from stock modules.

How long does a custom closet take?

4. Manufacturing — 4 TO 7 WEEKS in our North Las Vegas shop from approved drawings.
5. Installation — installed by our own crew, typically in 2-3 DAYS.
